Sign up and complete your career profile by entering your current role, target role, timeline, budget, and location. JobRays will then generate your comprehensive roadmap automatically within minutes. Once ready, you can explore your curriculum, review your salary arc, check skill benchmarks, and consult Ray, your AI career companion, for ongoing guidance.

Your complete roadmap including your curriculum, salary arc, benchmarks, and milestones is typically ready within two to four minutes. A progress screen will display during the build process. You only need to complete this initial setup once. Your roadmap will then update dynamically whenever you request a refresh.

JobRays offers three tiers. Free gives your full roadmap, salary arc, skill benchmarks, and 5 Ray conversations with no subscription. Premium includes full curriculum access, 20 Ray conversations per day, and 5 roadmap refreshes per month. Pro includes everything in Premium alongside company ladder intelligence, company-specific targets, 50 Ray conversations per day, and 10 roadmap refreshes per month. Pro is currently offered at introductory pricing, meaning your rate locks in permanently when you subscribe.

A roadmap refresh re-runs your complete career analysis using your latest profile and goals. You should use this feature when your situation changes, such as targeting a new role, relocating, or adjusting your timeline. The Trial includes one initial generation. Premium includes five refreshes per month, and Pro includes ten. Your refresh credits reset automatically on your monthly billing date.

Free gives you your complete roadmap, salary arc, skill benchmarks, and 5 Ray conversations with no subscription and no auto-renew. Roadmap refreshes are not included on Free — upgrade to Premium or Pro when you want monthly updates and higher Ray limits.

Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Premium or Pro at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you secure the Pro plan at its introductory rate, that price is locked in permanently as long as your subscription remains active.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We accept all major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and popular wallets for Indian users. International cards are fully supported for our global users. All transactions are encrypted, and we never store your raw card details.

Your roadmap and profile stay in your account. Free includes 5 Ray conversations and no roadmap refreshes after the initial generation. Upgrade to Premium or Pro from billing to unlock higher limits and continue where you left off.

Finally, the milestone ladder outlines the essential career checkpoints between your current position and your ultimate goal.

Ray is your dedicated AI career companion inside JobRays. Unlike generic chatbots, Ray has full contextual access to your customized roadmap, curriculum, milestones, skill gaps, and salary arc. You can ask Ray to prioritize your monthly focus, identify critical skill blockers, analyze salary impacts of a location change, or help you prepare for domain-specific interviews. All answers are grounded entirely in your specific situation.

Yes. You can instruct Ray to swap out a course, suggest resource alternatives, or initiate a complete roadmap refresh when your goals evolve. Ray will always confirm changes before applying them. Major structural changes, such as targeting a completely new role, will trigger a full regeneration. Minor adjustments are applied surgically without requiring a complete rebuild.

This feature is exclusive to the Pro plan. The Company Ladder maps the exact career progression structures at specific companies relevant to your target role. It details existing internal levels, specific level requirements, and the realistic paths needed to reach your target position. This layer of company-specific intelligence allows you to execute your preparation with absolute precision.

Yes. Salary data, benchmarks, course recommendations, and market context are strictly calibrated to your specified location and target market. A professional targeting Bangalore will see completely different salary arcs and requirements compared to someone targeting London or New York. You establish your location during onboarding and can update it at any time within your Career Profile in Settings.

Yes. Navigate to your Career Profile to update your target role, timeline, location, budget, or experience level. Saving these changes will consume one roadmap update credit to regenerate your plan based on the new inputs. You can also ask Ray to make minor surgical adjustments without using a full update credit.

Your data is stored securely in an encrypted database protected by strict access controls. We utilize industry-standard authentication to ensure your career profile, roadmap, and conversation history remain entirely private. We never share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

JobRays uses anonymized and aggregated data to improve our internal career intelligence models. This enhances roadmap quality, salary accuracy, and Ray's guidance. All data used in this process is strictly stripped of personally identifiable information. Your name, email, profile details, and conversation history are never identifiable. We do not share your data with third-party AI providers for training purposes. Furthermore, your individual data is never reviewed by humans during normal operations. You retain the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time via your Settings.

Only you have access. Your career profile, roadmap, salary arc, and Ray conversations are restricted entirely to your account. JobRays staff may view anonymized and aggregated data strictly for product improvement. Your individual profile is never reviewed by human staff during standard operations.

Our salary data is sourced from publicly available market information and calibrated precisely by role, experience level, and location. These figures represent realistic market ranges rather than guaranteed offers. Because market conditions fluctuate, your roadmap reflects the data available at the time of your most recent refresh. If you need current data on a specific company or role, you can prompt Ray to search for the latest information.

The daily limit resets at midnight for Premium and Pro users. If you reach your capacity before then, Ray will notify you and access will resume the following day. For Trial users, the 10-conversation limit applies to the entire 10-day period. Once this limit is reached, upgrading to Premium or Pro will immediately restore full daily access.

Course recommendations are drawn from current sources and update automatically whenever you refresh your roadmap. Resources that become outdated or no longer exist are replaced during this refresh cycle. If you encounter a specific resource that appears stale, simply ask Ray to find an alternative and it will immediately search for a current replacement.

Navigate to the Billing section within your Settings to cancel your subscription. You will retain full access to the platform until the end of your current billing cycle. Your roadmap and profile data are preserved securely after cancellation. If you choose to resubscribe later, you will pick up exactly where you left off.

Navigate to the Account section within your Settings and select Delete Account. This action permanently removes your profile, roadmap, and all associated data. Please note that this process cannot be undone.

Yes. JobRays is fully functional across mobile browsers. The entire platform including your roadmap, Ray conversations, and account settings is optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences. A dedicated mobile application is planned for a future release.

Click the "Forgot password" link on the login page and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes. If you originally created your account using Google, you do not have a separate password and should select "Continue with Google" to sign in.
